How to transfer a domain from Fasthosts to pdHosting?

This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to transfer a domain from Fasthosts to your pdHosting account.

Domain Transfer steps:

UK Domain Names (.co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, plc.uk, ltd.uk)

Start domain transfer process

• Place your domain transfer to pdHosting by visiting the PD Hosting Domain Transfer page. Enter your domain in the Domain Name field. Since UK domains do not have EPP Code/Auth Code, leave the field empty and hit the Add To Cart button. Follow and complete the checkout process.

To complete Domain transfer

• Log in to your Fasthosts control panel.
• From the control panel, navigate to Domain Names.
• Select the domain you would like to transfer.
• In the Domain Registration screen, click the Change link for IPS tag and enter PDHOSTING in the text field.
• Click Transfer Out and allow up to 72hrs for the move to take place.

Transferring other Domain Names (TLDs) from Fasthosts to pdHosting

• Login into your Fasthosts control panel.
• Go to the Domain Manager tab.
• Select the domain you would like to transfer.
• Click the Unlock link and confirm you would like to unlock the domain.
• Take note of the Authorisation Code (EPP Key) found in the Domain Management screen.
• Place your domain transfer to pdHosting by visiting the PD Hosting Domain Transfer page. Enter your domain in the Domain Name field. Enter your EPP Code/Auth Code to Authorization Code field and hit the Add To Cart button. Follow and complete the checkout process.
• You will receive an email once the transfer has been initiated, to confirm the transfer.
• Click on the verification link provided within the email.

Now that you’ve initiated the transfer, it can take up to nine business days to complete.
