How to transfer a domain from HostGator to pdHosting?

Transferring your domain from HostGator to pdHosting is easy, just follow the steps below.

Domain Transfer steps:

UK Domain Names (.co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, plc.uk, ltd.uk)

Start domain process

• Place your domain transfer to pdHosting by visiting the PD Hosting Domain Transfer page. Enter your domain in the Domain Name field. Since UK domains do not have Epp Code/Auth Code, leave the field empty and hit the Add To Cart button. Follow and complete the checkout process.

To complete Domain transfer

• Submit a ticket to HostGator requesting them to change the domain IPS tag to PDHOSTING.
• HostGator will complete the transfer within 24 hours.

Transferring other Domain Names from HostGator to pdHosting

• Login into your HostGator control panel.
• Go to the Domain Manager tab.
• Click the domain name you want to transfer and unlock it on the lock tab.
• Click on the privacy tab and turn off privacy.
• On the Transfer EPP tab get the Auth code (EPP key). HostGator will email this to the domains administrative contact's email address. Follow the instructions within the email to approve the transfer.
• Place your domain transfer to pdHosting by visiting the PD Hosting Domain Transfer page. Enter your domain in the Domain Name field. Enter your EPP Code/Auth Code to Authorization Code field and hit the Add To Cart button. Follow and complete the checkout process.
• You will receive an email once the transfer has been initiated, to confirm the transfer.
• Click on the verification link provided within the email.
• In your HostGator account, go to the Domain Manager tab and select the domain and click the TRANSFER EPP tab and approve the transfer.

Now that you’ve initiated the transfer, it can take up to five business days to complete.
