Renewing or cancelling Domains

Purchasing and Automatically Renewal of Domains

Any domains that are purchased through PDHosting has Auto Renewal enabled, meaning that the invoicing and renewal of the domain will be automated and will be automatically renewed once payment has been received, as long as the account has a valid payment method maintained and can be charged.

I want to Renew my Domain early

You are able to renew a domain at any time. You can renew the domain for a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 10 years. TLDs are each managed by a domain registry that sets the maximum length a domain can be renewed or purchased for, so this may be different depending on the TLD you have.

You as well will not lose any time that you have already paid for, and the renewal will be tacked on to the end of the domain.

To being the renewal process;

- Log in to the client area at https://my.pdhosting.co.uk/
- Click on Domains > My Domains > Manage Domain
- Click on the Renew Now
- Complete the order process and the domain will be automatically renewed

I do not want my Domain any longer and want to Cancel it

Managing the Auto Renewal will prevent the domain from being renewed once it is set to expire

- Log in to the client area at https://my.pdhosting.co.uk/
- Click on Domains > My Domains > Manage Domain
- Click on the Auto Renewal (right column)
- Click on Disable Auto Renew

If the domain has already been invoiced, the invoice will be cancelled or will be removed from any bundled invoice.

If you change your mind and not want to keep the domain:

- If the domain expires in sixty (60) days or less, go through the Early Renewal process.
-If the domain expires longer than that, you can either do the Early Renewal process or simply Re-enable Auto Renew as described above.
